We in win now mode, I don't think we can be cheap in Bron's last elite years. The #22nd pick probably won’t get us a player who can contribute right away anyways.
Getting a pick back would be nice though.
I've seen Kings fans reactions on buddy but I always felt like he was forced to try and do more on that crappy team. I think here he'd have a clear-cut role.

what sucks is that there’s nights you’ll be like okay he’s what Lakers are missing. Then some nights like where is this guy. If you want that 20 mill a year you gotta at least earn it. Felt like he had those 6th man type of vibes. They can come in light a spark then chill and have a off game and no one would care because he came off the bench.
