**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Toronto gonna go from champions to Kuz’ bone headed plays and pascals spin move…. yikes :lol

Crazy to think Lowry been in Toronto so long. He was there when The Goat hit those 3 threes at Staples and capped it off with a dunk to seal the win

I just want Bron/AD to bring in good players for this year. Not going back to back pissed me off, so let's get 2 outta 3 and I'll feel better.

Russ, Hield, Lowry, Derozan, Melo, Dame, Beal, whoever. Just get good players.

Another cringeworthy Twitter news:

“the lakers offered Kuzma to the Jazz, Timberwolves and cavs. They all said no”

I mean...what did lakers ask for in return?

Either there’s a rogue Pelinka hating agent that wants to see Rob and lakers burn by putting out “out of context” news or Kuzma and his agent are trying to kill his stock so he can return to LA.

Mckinnie/22nd pick for shamet? Yay or nay?

Hopefully lakers can get a 2nd rounder (44,49,59) from the nets too

teams just dont want kuzma

in every situation wether it be bron out, ad out, or both, kuzma ******* sucked

as the third scorer, second scorer, first option, he sucked.

I disagree. He was good in his role. As a bench wing. He is not terrible and not on a terrible contract. You asking him to be James harden is your own fault

He was fine this past season. His shot just deserted him at the worst time possible.

shamet is not a good player
If all the players lakers want at 22 are gone and they wanna move back instead. It would be like getting a free player if the nets did shamet and 2nd rounder for 22nd pick.

nobody asked him to be james harden

he was not good when we needed him to step up. when bron was out. when ad was out. when schroeder was out. he did nothing but stayed in his average role.

this the same guy our fanbase wanted to keep over ingram

lakers probably tried to trade kuz to the jazz for clarkson and got shut down quick

Exactly. He’s a good average player.

and of course jazz would decline a kuz for Clarkson trade.

This draft is deep. I would argue there are guys in the top 40-45 that have a reasonable chance to be impactful in the regular season.

Kuz is at his best when he's the focal point of the offense, which isn't happening with the Lakers. He picked up a lot of good habits defensively and off the ball, as much as I've ragged on him I hope nothing but the best for him.

Not even the focal point. He needs to be in transition constantly and needs guys that will find him on cuts, which I thought would be great with Bron and Marc but just didn't happen for some reason.

Agree with that but I think he was producing at his best when he had the ball in his hands more and I think he had trouble adjusting to not being a primary offensive option
