those two moves and a reduction in Rondo's min for DC and more for Caruso (even though he hasn't really been able to score lately) and this team may look entirely different lolKuzma wasn’t traded primarily due to his contract. Any trade required him to be coupled with Green in order to make salaries match. Trading Kuz AND Green likely solves one problem but creates another.
With that being said, the value for us is in the buyout market. Harkless would be a great addition. He can play defense and has shown some ability to shoot the 3. Collison is a major upgrade over Rondo.
I’d be very content with those two moves.
Kuzma wasn't the problem.
Plus AD doesn’t know how to pass when the double comes.you double AD and you beat this team. This team needs a legit 3rd scorer.
Lakers fans, you have nobody to blame for this missed championship aside form the incompetent Lakers managment.
Here is a brief summary of the Lakers-Clippers rivalry:
Jerry West takes a **** on Rob Pelinka at the free agent signing deadline during the offseason.
Rob Pelinka's response is to say "Thank you Sir, may I have another?"
Jerry West happily obliges and proceeds to take another hot, steamy dump on his Rob Lowe lookin-*** at the season trade deadline.
Are you drunk? What trade would you have wanted the Lakers to make. I wanted Marcus Morris as well but all of the proposed trades were crazy overpays. I'm not a big kuzma fan but giving up kuzma and Danny Green for 4 months of Marcus Morris is just stupid. Detroit wanted first round picks for Rose so we're already out of that race
The Clippers got Morris for a bunch of stuff they found in their local dumpster.
Pelinka couldn't trade Kuzma for a player of equal, or even lesser value, as long as he was a better fit.

Pretty much we need an A+ performance from LeBron every single night on both offense and defense for us to win. Kawhi, Giannis and other stars can afford to play poorly and their teams still win. At this stage in his career, I don't think we can get that effort from LeBron night in and night out during the regular season. To be honest I would rather him save it for the playoffs.
As I've been saying forever, Kuzma is far too inconsistent to be relied upon. There are far too many games (typically against good teams) where he just disappears. He's already getting cooked on defense and then you throw in his bad offense, he's pretty much worthless. But watch, against bad teams like the Warriors he'll go out and get you 20 and people will be like
