I can live with 1-8 considering EVERYTHING else this guy has to do on the court just to keep us competitive....

those other guys literally only have to hit open shots.....

And most of the time cant do that.

you know how many games lebron has won us? How many games has AC, DG, or Kuz won us? Maybe 1 or 2

so i’ll live with 1-8 from lebron

im not sure what else you want the guy to do....

If anything AD could have done more, he was the biggest guy on the court and i dont even think thats fair, AD did his part....where are the others??????

I told you what I wanted him to do, stop bricking 27 footers and go to the damn rim. Either get a layup OR free throws OR kick it out when the defense collapses. (To the guys who were shooting better.)

AND not turn it over six times.

No defender above 6-5. Get to the rim and WORST CASE be there to rebound either his own misses or the kick outs.

Im definitely all with shading off Russ and doubling Harden all game but we cant just let Russ get SUCH easy shots, his shooting performance looks great but it was so damn easy for him tonight. 12 foot wide open midrange shots or driving into the lane 1 on 1 and punking Kuz or Caruso drawing a foul or getting a layup.

Also, AD will get any shot he wants on Tucker but i gotta give PJ credit because any shot that AD didnt take, PJ did a great job of boxing him out. Although he shouldve had his 5th foul in the 3rd quarter when he was whining but they gave it to someone else

any team with at least 2 dynamic perimeter scorers will feast on the lakers. the personnel they have is inadequate. bradley and green are living on reputations. caruso is good defensively but against elite players, he’s a ghost.

lakers missed the mark by being complacent. we all chalked it up to “well, we’re ahead of schedule and they’re exceeding expectations” during the first half of the month now look at them now.

they are not going to get better and DC is a band aid solution.

BI was a given, he’s the main piece for the trade but Lonzo would’ve been a much, much better fit for this team. A defensive guard that could make plays and occasionally hit 3.

Yeah I wasn't worried about Def, we hadn't had time to figure out that trash group, Dwight, Javale, AD guarding Russ, just matchup problems.

its clear as day

this team cant shoot. Its not that complicated, most of our issues stem from poor shooting....

we don't necessarily need “play makers” we make plays we just don’t FINISH them.

Like I said earlier. I expected so much more from AD. The Lakers went all in with draft picks and prospects for him. His stats never fooled me, he’s been a non factor offensively in the 4th.

alot of times AD gets the ball in the post and hell do step back fade away, one dribble step back fadeaway, etc lol when we see what he can do when he actually goes to work on the block
he has nice touch and athleticism.. dunks and floaters alike and a good second hop in case he misses

Bertans was on my list. Seems like an obvious choice considering the Wizards and Lakers do business all the time. Not sure why it never gained traction.

AD doesnt have the mindset to be aggressive and demand the rock. He not the get outta my way I'm bout to take over type

But if AD demanded the ball, the space will create itself and everyone clears out. He just not aggressive enough. Mindset not there yet. He will learn tho.

2. If a small is pushing him away from good post position, that's where we need a good floor general to recognize the situation and draw AD back out to run a PNR so he canre-position and exploit the mismatch

3. Lakers won't have this problem that were seeing from AD in the 4th if when AD is on ISO, players are cutting and moving off the ball on the weakside in order to shift the defense and get them scrambling.

Kuzma is supposed to be that guy but instead only Caruso the one doin it. The rest just standing there spectating.

Additionally, AD ismore effective on ISO if Lakers mix it up with him on offense. Iso down low, then pnr next time down then iso again but face up top of the key. Then switch it up and go pinch post action for that mid range.

When it comes to AD, Lakers have to mix it up on offense otherwise we gonna continue to look like how we did tonight.

Teams know they can attack our guards at will too so it's a must AD dominates every game
