**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

So who's better, Kilpatrick or Russell?

All the concerns from the surprising start are still there...turnovers, allowing teams to shoot too many threes, little rim protections. Just a recipe for disaster.

Love the look on Worthy's face. I love how he looks upset. I love how he looks like he's ready to take somebody's head off. I love how Big Game James and Big Shot Bob ALWAYS had the killer instinct.

There's only ONE player on this Lakers team who has those qualities. Too bad that person is MWP

Where is the ball and player movement we had when the season started?

So much stagnant iso...

Probably because the other players have lost confidence in Russell as their "leader." It's the STARTING PG's JOB to initiate the offense and to be the QUARTERBACK on the floor. Russell does none of this. None whatsoever.

The Lakers have what, 3 freakin assists as a team? SMH

Probably because there is no player who is stepping up in the locker room to boost their morale. That player is supposed to be Russell. Wasn't he the one who said in the off-season that he holds himself to high regard and is welcoming the pressure to be the leader of this team?

The cancer has to be removed.

If D'Lo and Lou don't score, this game will be a blowout for the Nets.

D'Lo opens the half with a three pointer.
Sets up Randle for an easy look after a pick and roll but gets blocked.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

D'Lo helps force a turnover, throws a cross court pass to Swaggy for an open three, which he misses.

Wake me up when Sport Clips breaks his man down BY HIMSELF without Moz or Randle or Deng setting a pick for him.

Which means, DLo doesn't have "the touch" because he can't even get an assist.

Westbrook or CP3 throws that pass to Young, and Young probably knocks it down.

Oh wow, he finally made one. lol

I bet Russell will now keep on shooting, which in turn will take the entire offense out of the game.

DLo exits game. Lakers take the lead and play with more energy right out the gate.

Hmm......
