**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

We gotta find away to keep Lou honestly

Only guys I'd willingly ship out is Deng, Robinson, Black, Calderon, & Huertas

I think they should just tank the rest of the season.
Get some lottery leverage.
It was a good couple weeks.
But it's LA.
Ring or bust.

Randle & Ingram both went for -8. Compared to -17 for Mozgov, -22 for Deng, -26 for MWP..

He shot 5-12 and went for 11 & 11.

Ghost? :rolleyes

He's hurting without Russell, but seriously, does it need to be 13 & 11 so he was shooting 50% for you to be happy

Lou's deal is too good to get anything of consequence, he's not fetching a 1st rounder by himself nor another player who will be worth the addition.

Not going to work.

Only way you'll do it is if it's at the Detriment of the Young Guys. And that's pointless.

They'll win another 20 games in a variety of different ways

Stop being dumb and start one of Lou or Clarkson at PG.

The starters keep digging holes that the bench can't get out of.

Rockets
Suns
Knicks
Kings
Nets

Hoping we could go 4-1 in the next 5.

Deng is just terrible.

shot is broke.
slow af.
nothing nothing nothing.

gotta keep Lou, Luke should have rested him sometime near beginning of 4th he played whole second half and his floaters weren't sinking in crunch time.

Thomas Robinson- is a Turiaf/ or a poor man's poor man's amare. but he plays with heart and does more positive then Deng.

Damn injury bug.

This.

Lou might be the second best contract in basketball.

If you can get a late pick for a low value player like huertas or Calderon or some stash player we've never heard of, what purpose would it serve to trade an actual productive player like lou for the same pick? Players have value outside of just being trade assets. Their contributions on the court are worthwhile unless you're not trying to win games. If the choice is between keeping a good player a season or two and either re-signing them or losing them in free agency versus trading that player for the same value you can get from the 15th man..why make a move?
