**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

SN to post ratio does not compute
LMAO. obviously KobeoverLebron
but that doesn't mean Bron's greatness should be overlooked. One of the most dependable superstars of all time.
Having him in a purple and gold uni would be CRAZY but we all want long term success.
Having him might give us a Finals run for 2/3 years but I'd rather wait it out and build a
dynasty around Ball-BI-Kuku

Isn’t Lou Will the reason we got Kuzma?

We got #28 from Houston for Lou.
We traded with the Nets and got #27.

We took Kuz at 27, but the Nets were not going to take him, so we would have had him at #28 anyways.

Once we took Kuz at 27, we traded down at 28 to 30 and took Josh Hart.

Basically, we didn't add Kuzma because of DLo, we added Hart because of DLo.

In a sense, you could have had Kuzma + Dlo, or Kuzma + Hart.

How long are people really going to believe DLo trade is how we got Kuzma?

We had the next pick, we were getting Kuzma DLo trade or not.
No technically we traded Dlo and mozgov for the 27th from the nets and picked Kuz. So the trade is responsible for him. No saying 100% if the pick him without the trade lol

I loved the Dlo trade, but not because we got Kuzma. CP is spot on, we would have drafted Kuz at 28 regardless, especially after that pre draft combine performance that Magic loved so much

I loved getting rid of Moz contract, and a player who IN MY OPINION was not a good leader and point guard for the future. Zo is that guy. Management and coaches all knew Dlo was a good scorer. And they all decided he was expendable because his scoring was offset by deficiencies in work ethic , leadership, defense, playing hard , etc

All facts. Not sure why some people are still holding on to the BS

Even I'm starting to come around on the Dlo trade , I wasn't a big fan of it at first. TBH, Zo is already a better player than Dlo ever was. He's just a smarter player, makes better decisions with the ball, leagues better defensively too.

I will always remember DLO as this guy.

There’s LeBron for yah too

I’ll remember him as when he fumbled the ball and crawled on the ground as the ball rolled out of bounds

Where’s that gif

Lakers rumor of the day from a "CyberX." He/She first reported the Dwight to Lakers trade and Dwight to Rockets free agent signing.

Lakers are trying to see if they can pry KL from SA. Willing to part with Brandon Ingram and more (of course). Looking to get addl picks that the Spurs would want.

Not saying SAS is willing to do anything at all. Again, stating that the Lakers are working the phones seeing what can be done.

Grain of salt.

If they are working the phones to get picks, for the Spurs......why can't they work the phones, to get picks, for US. :lol

Spurs aren't dealing Leonard for Ingram and some picks. No way I believe that.

Think it’s been repeated plenty of times here, but if Kupchak and Jim didn’t sign Mozgov and LolDeng to bad deals, we probably have DLo in Laker land still. Sucks that he got traded, but let’s not act like he was on good terms with management. Hope he does well in Brooklyn.

Man watching pg play defense is beautiful...feeling less likely he leaves next year I think he gives it 2 or 3 years with russ to try and do something
