Kobe Bryant Appreciation Thread (29/11/15) retirement announcement. final szn.

The Lakers lost this game but it's probably my favorite clip of him. Filth.

Favorite Kobe games would be the 50 at sacramento in 06.

The 50 (40 in the second half) against the Clippers in 06 because I was there for that one.

The 48 against AI and Philly fresh off of suspension in 06. I was there for that one as well.

The 60 piece at memphis in 07

65 vs Port and the Toronto 2013 game are two biggest stand outs to me.

62 in 3Q was good too.
The 56 in 3Q vs Grizz
12 3's vs Ray Allen. (In like 2.5 quarters mind you)

That game vs Toronto is 2013, was a stand out for me as well. Some of those shots was just hours upon hours in the lab working on your craft....

The 42 in one half against wizards mj

Game 1 against sas in 01

Game 4 against sac in 01

Kobe> Duncan is obvious but to say Timmy doesn't have the "it" factor is laughable
Is Timmy a "must watch" superstar ala MJ, Kobe, Shaq, KG, Lebron, Westbrook, Curry? (Probably missing a few others) Other than in San Antonio, do people tune in just to see him? Is he a superstar that simply amazes you with otherworldly play or incredible statlines? When was the last time you said, "Man Im kinda mad I missed that Spurs game the other night. Isn't he "Mr. Consistent"? You know exactly what you're gonna get with him year after year. Im pretty sure there was a chart that adjusted his stats for the last 10 years to per 36 minutes and the numbers were almost identical. Dont get me wrong, he is one of the gteatest PFs ever and a surefire HOFer but IMO he just doesnt have that it factor.

What kind of "it" factor are you talking about? :lol

Are you trying to say in order to take over a game you can only be entertaining?

You're taking this convo to a entirely different direction

I tune in specifically to watch him. But that doesn't constitute the 'it' factor which most refer to (he has that as well)

Kobe game 4 against the Kings in 01

Kobe 97' 32 piece ( I think) against Jordan

Kobe 99' against the Warriors where he brings them back with MJ courtside on TNT

Kobe in 99' against the Magic where he goes off for like 30 plus in the 2nd half

Kobe in 99' against Seattle at Key Arena and GP had nothing for him.

Kobe 50 piece in 01' against the warriors

Kobe 43 piece on a sunday in 06' against Yao and Houston

Kobe's 43 against Dallas in 06 where he hits a 35 footer to seal it

Kobe's 43 against houston in 01

Game 6 vs Suns 2010 he was in god mode

The whole 12-13 season ...dude was the best player in the league that year idc

I'll never forget when Kobe dropped 81... my brother came storming into my room to wake me up... I was like 12 :lol

"Dude Kobe has 70 and the game is still going on" "Stu (RIP) is going crazy on ESPN right now they are showing it live lets go"

Got right up like it was Christmas morning and witnessed the ending :hat
