Just watched it last night. The action was pretty good. I felt like it could have been longer though or more developed in backstory. Everywhere he walks into, it's like everyone know him and what he does

I was thinking the same thing, but after the 2nd watch, you start to remember more things. He was obviously a contract killer. He had a close relationship with Willem Dafoe; hell me may have been his mentor. He was obviously notorious because everyone greeted him with a "Good to see you / you're back". When he wanted out of the life, Vigo sent him on an impossible mission and for his completion, he was granted a civilian lifestyle.

He was definitely known in the underground contract killing world (most probably know each other especially in that hotel/club strictly for their kind) and probably one of the best (if not the very best) and that is why many knows and feared him.

He was also probably real known because not many get out of their lifestyle well and alive and he managed to do it in his own terms.

Enjoyed this film. Glad to see there was a decent supporting cast. Wish it was a little bit longer though.

Yeah, I would assume the next film would be a sequel? Unless, another contract killer head of Wick returning and wants revenge for what he did in the first film. lol.

Definitely an entertaining movie.
