And I heard before that the OG script was for Deebo (Tiny Lester) to come outta prison on that ayo stuff on he wasn't with it. I wonder if this is what he was talking about. They scrapped it and got Terry Crews and we saw what happened to him a couple years ago.

so there can be a legit way to go about this
theres probably a lot of those we just never know about

this is why a lot producers/artists wont listen to demos they get

Wasn't it because the issue was with Fab (a New Yorker) and him cracking jokes at the expense of Ray J and his 24/7 cameos.
It would make sense to embarrass fab at home. I could see Fab not caring as much about a person joking on him in LA. Ray J knew Fab (who is affiliated with Envy via Desert Storm) would hear.
