Also if you own your specials networks wouldn’t really have them. Netflix BOUGHT his special. HBO Showtime etc but your specials and air they. If you owned your specials you’d be making dvd’ s and selling them on your own website channel etc. most comedians don’t own their content because you wouldn’t see them on tv if they did.
