“I was really just sorry that I mentioned Wanda Sykes or Tiffany’s name,” Williams continued. “I was in a conversation with a non-female comedian about female comedians. That was a no-no. So I’ve been chastised enough by Wanda Sykes and others to see the error of my ways.”
The thing about Katt's remarks is that, he could've said the exact same thing, in a private setting, amongst other comedians at his level and beyond, and it likely would've been an overall consensus. In public, while engaging with a radio personality and non-comedian, his statement will get lost in translation, and lazily dismissed as just "hating". The media and general public don't care about keeping the culture of the black comedy game moving in a positive direction, as we clearly see. This isn't hip-hop. Most of these personalities *CTG/Wanda* already think they're "comedians". They spend every morning instigating these "beefs" among entertainers, and the younger, more sensitive ones fall right in the trap.
He literally made up a bunch of lies to tear someone down that is hating if I've ever seen it.
Katt damn near 50.
What did he lie about?
Allegedly 2.4 million ticket sales.
Allegedly 100 consecutive sold out dates
