i agree with the fact that kanye incident made ppl who werent country/pop fans know who taylor swift was...some of those non country/pop fan felt sorry fortaylor and realized her talent so they supported her as well

Well props to her...
And no im not close minded...I like all types of music but being a 21 yr old i rarely drive around listening to "pop" music...Ive only heard that onetrack from her and I barely remember what it sounded like...but eh whatever ...I heard enough to know that I didn't want to hear it again...
Maybe ill give her another chance one day but if a girl is singing I'm more of a Adele type of person...

If anything, she elevated his career....she won the highest honor given to a country musician last night....has he won the hip hop counterpart of that? (maybehe has, I don't know). They made fun of him a few times at the country music awards. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood sang a duet "Mamas, don'tlet your babies grow up to be Kanye," while Brad was talking about his new video, 88 year old country legend Jimmy Dickens came up on stage andinterrupted him saying Taylor Swifts video was the best of all time, then when Taylor accepted her first award, she thanked everybody for staying in theirseats and not coming up on stage.
