Raised in The BX, all my family still there, most of my childhood friends grew up and actually invested in property there, as for myself aside from visiting them I have no desire to ever be there....it’s really a place trapped in time, still as violent as it ever was, as ghetto as it ever was, even the fashion is trapped in the 90’s...and it’s people love it....this is sad, but not surprising at all...happens more often than not and people being desensitized isn’t anything to be shocked about, NYC is the type of place you can be dragged out of a public bus full of people and beat to death in broad daylight and not a person would blink and those that do react do it to film the whole thing...it has always been a cold city and The Bronx is it’s coldest borough.
Apparently the victim and his boys had stabbed up one of the dudes in the video, so this was retaliation....then the other story has the victim filming himself with another dude smashing some bird that was one of them dudes GF....so apparently the kid was no angel, but he coulda done with a good *** whooping...no need to brutally murder him like that, dudes are cowards for that.
Aside from that, I wouldn’t have jumped in to potentially get poked, for a stranger that in reality wasn’t such a good person to begin with, I have a family to look after and that would be a ridiculous way to potentially die for, I however would have dialed the useless cops and monitored the whole thing and stood within distance to see how the thing would unfold...the second dude got poked up and those cats took off I woulda stepped in and helped the kid, I think he could have survived, poor kid ran to the hospital and bled to death outside in front of TRAINED professionals, IMO that’s what got me, how those cops just stood around and formed a perimeter while civilians jumped to his aide as he bled out, pick the ***** kid up and get him to the ER!!!! Every second was crucial.
