Jordan XI Legend Blue - December 14, 2024

How do these fit? Starting with the bred 11s they started to fit a lil snug . The 11s (space jams, concords, win like 96) prior to 2019 fit big to me. I have the cool greys , just haven’t worn them yet. I may half size up considering the history.

They run TTS in my opinion

Might have to send mine back.. not into the overall shape of XI’s. I feel like DMP and CG’s were better than the pair I personally received. Might try for another pair but they’re not hitting on foot.

Nike should be doing two things:
1. Innovating new materials for new models to push the boundaries of both design and performance.
2. Sourcing materials to make retro product as close to the OG as possible to preserve the brand’s legacy.

Instead they’re innovating new materials to drive down cost and it’s a race to the bottom on both fronts.

I’ll probably get torched for this opinion but all retros are reps in the literal definition of the word “replica” or “reproduction.” Nike is making something that closely resembles the original but mostly ignores performance and quality. I read at a Jordan activation that I think it was the OG 2s or 3s were hand made in Italy by craftsman. It’s unbelievable to think they cared that much at the time. With all that said, I’ll probably double up 🤣

I’ve been saying this. Especially with respect to non-Nike produced reps that look the same or better. Back in the day fakes were always much lower quality. Cuz it was about being cheaper. High resale prices have allowed fakes to be made with better quality. If you can’t tell the difference there is no difference.

There’s already companies making 1s better than Nike. The rest will be soon come if Nike doesn’t tighten up. We were promised better quality for higher prices. And we’ve gotten it here and there. But not nearly consistently enough.

The 2014 pair was my first Jordan 11. Unfortunately I was new to sneaker collect and thought I was a size 11  the sneaker did not fit me well despite my best efforts to make them work. Now the 2024 version is in my size and is now the last Jordan 11 to complete the collection of Space Jam, Concord, Bred, and Cool Grey.

PS- made in China pair #factorytalk

They did fix the patent on the 2016 Jams, 2018 Concords and such. They were using real patent and it was thicker. Last year and this year they went with a paper thin cut. So that’s factual and straight from someone from the brand…..it is what it is. They’re always looking. For ways to cut costs and that’s one of them.

The instant creases is gonna happen and it is what it is. Yes most people don’t hoop in them but the shoes is built more or less still performance wise in mind and are easily hoopable still.

Just because most NT 11s live in their box their entire lifetime doesn’t mean you can’t hoop in em.

Bottom line. Cheap *** materials.

Last holiday 11 I put to feet were Jubilees. After that, it was these in the low top form.

I still kind of want Gratitudes but might hold out for a proper Concord retro.
