That was MJ's decision. These were not retros. They were the original shoes he's had since '85, thus the smaller size. He came across them in his closet before that game and decide to wear them since it was his last game (or so he/we thought at the time) at the Garden. The smaller size combined with the lack of technology and cushioning on those shoes is why his feet were killing him.Originally Posted by KenJi714
MJ said he wore a size 12 for the AJ1 in that last game at MSG. He said in the post game interview with Amad Rashad that his feet were killing him. Can't believe Nike didn't even hook him up with the right size
