You're not smart. The reebok design was created many years ago when adidas DIDN'T own reebok. So adidas did copy the design. The fact that they own reebok just gave them further clearance to do so.

Aren't they technically rebranded? I don't think anything in terms of the design was changed, besides the branding, no?

Managed to grab a pair on SNKRS yesterday too and gifted to my good buddy during his surprise bday yesterday.

Report it as feedback if anything, giving them benefit, if they made a 'mistake' then FTL can look into it to figure how to improve the process so it won't happen again to you or someone else.

In this day in age, I'm surprised we don't have a thread on how to report shady stores for all chains that's a sticky. I don't know whether the employees buy their pairs before or after, but I'd tell them to go dig in reserved employee pairs if that's the process. At the very least, I'm sure corporate can cough up pairs that were cancelled online.

I raised holy hell at an FNL manager in their corporate office when the Bred 11s released and it was in regard to an online sale when couldn't check out and lost it on her. Miraculously, the manager "had my size in her office" and they shipped them to me. I'm honestly surprised she didn't tell me to pack sand considering they probably hear it every hyped release. I haven't tried FNL online in a while, but several years ago, their checkout was atrocious when the site got bombarded.

I do, but I'm also the same dude that buys Asics, Diadora, and Puma, too. Nike will always be my #1, but Adidas is my #2 currently, but Asics held that spot till recently. Take it for what it's worth, but I was also buying Pure Boost before Ultras came out and Kanye was even spotted wearing them as well. In general, I just like shoes.

Still report them. If the store did everything correctly, then they have nothing to worry about. In general, an investigation should be to find facts, not a witch hunt. However, if they're being shady, then the "facts" should reveal such and the manager should pay the price. When you're in command of the store, you're the Captain so to speak and you go down with the ship. Not saying it's fair, but if you make examples of a few managers, it may send a clear message it won't be tolerated. It's like shooting a hostage ... a clear indication Corporate will not play their game.

If it was an honest mistake, it's an opportunity for the company to fix their process.

When the space jams released I won a pair at Champs in new park Mall. When I got there there was a lot of shady stuff going on. I reported them. I'm sure many others did as well.

I made the complaint the same night of the release and woke up to a call from the regional vice president the next morning and he sorted everything out for me.

I didn't buy any of the releases between the space jams and royals but I noticed that that store didn't have any royals. So I'm assuming that the complaints had something to do with them not getting any royals in men sizes.

Nike owns cole haan. Doesn't mean you'll find cole haans "rebranded" with Nike swooshes across the side. They didn't throw 3 stripes on the reebok question (Iversons). Get my point?
