Article is cool but stupid at the same time. Check out all this attention to detail Nike put in to the shoe but end of day most who will appreciate it won’t have them they’ll end up in hands of people who only are attracted to the super limited aspect of it.

For 250 JB used synthetic fake leather on the swoosh! Letsgooooo I always hated that they used real leather on the 85 retros @ 200 retail

Why didn't JB fix the collar material? Why didn't they paint the foam black like the Original?

I think you’re mistaken man. Originally the collars were the foam coated in the synthetic vinyl. I think you are referring to typically speaking most 1985 pairs have cracked collars at best and most if not all of the vinyl coating has worn away… hence why restorers will paint the collar foam back black.Why didn't JB fix the collar material? Why didn't they paint the foam black like the Original?
The retros look to be the exact same as 1985 pairs in that regard.
My originals collars have held up quite good, but they’ll need restored eventually.

Naw..most of us have already checked out of this release, things might change if it’s a wider release but it’s not looking good. So they finally put in the effort they lied about putting into the Remastered effort
And they are gonna charge a huge mark up, and limit the amount of pairs so most of the people that have been waiting for such a release won't be able to get them.
