They’re all the same, the last retro that is the closest to OG was 2002

I believe the CDP was one of the last 9s to still have the correct outsole with the big jumpman, and the rand had a nice cut even though the overall shape wasn’t the greatest.

They look ok. It more the comfort and fit I’m worried about. 9’s have the potential to feel ok, or like literal bricks on feet.

Im planning to get these bc they’re my favorite cw of the IXs, but damn that close up shot just spotlights the problems with the shape. Esp with the pics of the og’s on recent pages. Hoping the cut on my pair is alright but if it’s too low I’m gonna have to send them back.

I can't say I've ever wore a pair of 9's that were even somewhat comfortable on feet. Def the most uncomfortable Jordan next to the 4's before they changed the mold recently.

Cool video I just watched on youtube called inside the Jordan Dome. Its an Australian interview from 1995. First time seeing it. Lots of footage of MJ wearing these 9s.

Really would like a fresh pair of these but I’m done giving JB my money for disappointment. Especially at the latest full prices. Only way I’m buying these now is if they hit a solid discount. These barely look any different than my 2016s that are still in great, clean shape.
If I’m going to cave on a halfass retro just for the looks, I’d rather buy The Gloves in two weeks.

Most likely in for these. I liked the Powders, and Olives, even with the low mudguards. I have accepted the fact they are not going to make the Jumpman size correct.

Never really realized how detailed the Jordan Dome was. Kinda makes sense now that he became the MVP that next season
