Agree, there is no way Nike would lose their molds lol NEVER. Even if they lost the physical mold, there has to be a schematic somewhere. They didnt loose their mold. Thats the most bogus rumor lets kill that here.
I actually know of a brand, not going to call them out.. but this brand rented storage space overseas by one of their factories to store stuff, they stored 8 seasons worth of molds... The storage company sold the brands stuff..Agree, there is no way Nike would lose their molds lol NEVER. Not buying it. Not saying you are lying but even if they store the physical mold somewhere, there is a schematic, a blueprint, on how to create that mold somewhere within their headquarters. Just because a house burns down, doesn't mean the architect also lost the plans to the building

this brand had to reproduce all their molds to continue making the same goods, it was too costly so they just went a new direction with new models.
Not saying this ever happened to Nike, but crazy **** happens all the time.
I hear you though, sounds crazy. I dont know the process that goes into creating the molds and ****, im just saying this is what a president of a company told me in a meeting..... I sit in vendor meetings several times a week... the stories i hear are UNREAL.... like when ADI flew in Lebron to sign him prior to Nike...and how that meeting went down .. etcNot buying it. Yeah thats how a lot of people think and it is sad, we need to get out of always thinking about ourselves and money; especially with shoes. But he did a great thing and I applaud him for that, if we had more people like this out in the world and stop thinking about how we can make money off of the next person, society would progress.
some of those were random as hell lol. he should have stuck with giving them to young kids. cool video though, by the amount of jordans on the resale market you can tell 99% of people don't think like this. all they see is $$$ for themselves
I think he did a great thing but let me play devils advocate for a second. If he truly didn't care about money, why video it and upload it to his youtube channel which makes him money? Again great thing he did, but there was something in it for him as well. It's super hard to find anyone selfless like that kid who gave his classmate a pair of kicks. Those kinds of people are very very few and far between

You're right, I didn't think about him getting paid by YouTube and that story was good too.

Its self marketing dude. Gets a few people to say aww nice guy, few more subscribers and he further monetizes his channel to make himself more money.Even so the money from YouTube may of went to the Jordans. Breaking even and doing something nice ain't bad.
