That's where I disagree. The older heads are the ones keeping the wheels turning, they work full time jobs to buy the releases they're pumping out every week. If sneakers were to hit $300+ or whatever would be too much for most, the sales will decline. I'm sure even at this point people are becoming more selective, I know I am. Even teens or young adults aren't going to be making enough to buy $300 shoes every week working for minimum wage. Nor will anyone be giving them money for them if they already priced them beyond their idea of a fair price. The bubble will bust at one point for retro sneakers. The examples people use to compare prices are new model sneakers with new tech. Realistically, it would be foolish if anyone was still buying them at the same cost as rent or a car payment for a $25-30 piece of rubber and pleather.
