Do you really think any of those shoes in 91+ had the mass appeal of the 1's? Not even close in my opinion, every class of people wore 1's not just skaters

Ehhh I don't know. The ones for skaters were a very rebellious punk rock-esque thing to do for the skaters then. Dont forget 1s were NOT popular globally. They hit sales racks pretty hard in the 90s. This is also why skaters messed with them--it was a cheap shoe, minimal design, different, and it was something thay could be made into their own. Up until several years ago pretty much every Jordan 1 thay dropped went on sale (somewhere); they weren't sellouts. And it had nothing to do with the lack of Nike Air branding--people just weren't interested.

Wearing nike's was not common in the 91 era with us skaters. We were looking for heel protection and durability against common griptape wear and tear. Not till sb (not 6.0) skaters along with company's were anti nike. It was looked frowned upon as a company trying to take over smaller shoe company's. Skateshops were not even trying to deal with them. Then shortly prod and koston merged and was put on and then it begin. I will say though before nike, converse was trying to make a comeback with skateboarding but wasn't strong enough.
From what I remember early 90s nike, bk, la gear, vans late 90s heshins and emericas, etnies, accels, hip skaters lol axion, es, dvs, osirus, dc. I'm sure I'm missing other brands but this was the it back when I was working in the skateshops and around la.

I skated from 85 through 90 east coast. Living on the west coast, lucky u. Suicidal was great. Jordan 1 and Vision streetwear were my favorites. Btw its Caballero lol. He was awesome.

I realize were compairing two different times but look back you will see once they weren't way to expensive many people were wearing them rock stars skaters ball players
I'm not saying that people were wearing ones in 91 I'm saying more people were rocking 1's in 86 while they were on sales racks everyone had a pair they must have made a million pairs

dude, its just a black pair and a white pair..
white pair (royal left shoe, bred right shoe)
black pair (bred left shoe, royal right shoe)
they are intentionally mismatched but even with the paint layer removed they will not be a perfect match if both pairs are obtained due to the overcoat residue..

The Green 1's are sitting in Switzerland. My boy hit me up last night and said i can have both. Relieved alot of stress, these are a pair i really need both of. Goodluck fellas

Which colour are you all preferring? Black or white? I like the white more but i think the black would go with more clothes, probaly sell for more after as well imo
