Not sure what to make of JE at the moment. While its great they're branching out, the quality issues and inconsistent sizing needs to be addressed.

They're really reaching with the "high end essentials" now. While the the regular items' prices can be partially justified with the high quality/fit, now they're just rolling out random items no one would wear if they weren't John Elliott and slapping a $200+ price tag on them. The original hoodies,crewnecks, etc. were overpriced but the quality and fit were amazing on them; my Villain hoodies have held up well over the past 2-3 years, and they've kept me warm in 40 degree weather.

why? What about that is creative or an improvement on a staple piece? They look like Goodwill clothes. Trying too hard to be a budget Saint Laurent

I got some Carhartt shorts pretty recently that I'm happy with quality-wise. $60. I'll probably stick with those.

Wasn’t the shorts a JE site exclusive? I like those shorts as well. Only like XXl left in black if I’m not mistaken.
