No i don't believe it is. A seam ripper will just leave a faint swoosh outline which in my opinion is better than a corduroy brown swoosh that clashes.
Those were F&F I think. Remove the swooshes and you basically got the same thing but IMO more subtle because it wont have a big check.

Not sure what to make of JE at the moment. While its great they're branching out, the quality issues and inconsistent sizing needs to be addressed.
Those new Vandals are clean tho, still need to double-up on the OGs before it dries up.
