My definition of a real PG right there.

:smokin

I'll forever be thankful for how he turned the Nets franchise around when he came here. Doing his first press conference & saying we would win 42 games when we won 26 the year before :smokin 2 straight finals appearances when he joined us too :hat

He really deserved that MVP back in '02 :\

Triple double machine & it was a pleasure watching him play for the Nets alongside VC, Kenyon, RJ, Kittles, Harris, Van Horn, etc for all those years.

Much respect to Kidd. Now we got Lillard to hold down the PG spot for the Bay Area.

Hill and Kidd retire. :{

The very last connection to the NBA of my childhood is severed.

Both such amazing players. It's too bad that only one of them won a championship and was much more fortunate with regards to injuries.

Both should make it to the Hall Of Fame. Kidd was a first balloter for some time now, but Hill should also make it taking his college career into consideration.

Where do yall rank him amongest the pg's all time? Obviously he's top five, the top always is a debate. Some say Magic, Stockton, Kidd, others Stockton Magic Kidd.

Definitely appreciated! He was my role model when I started playing basketball circa 2001. The best PG in 2000s imo!

believe in juwan!

Jason Kidd should've got MVP atleast once during the Nets back to back finals run. Look at the team he had :lol

Played like our 2nd best player for the first 50 games of the season and was the main reason for our hot start. Age caught up to dude quickly and was a shell of his former self for the rest of the year . He realized his time was over and I respect that , props to J.Kidd for an amazing career the only person who was better than him at his position was Magic . Hope he goes into the hall as a member of the Mavs **** the Nets

Was a machine in his prime. Always made dudes like Keith Van Horn play much much better.

Living in Jersey, I appreciated the fast breaks with K-Mart, Kittles, RJ, and KVH.

Those Nets seasons he was a straight beast! Triple double machine for quite a few seasons. Glad he got a ring and a definite 1st ballot HoF inductee.
Thanks for the years :smokin

2 Gold Medals.

2 gold medals isn't much of an accomplishment when you're on a Dream Team (2000 and 2008) . . . because Dream Teams are supposed to win gold medals :p

now if Jason Kidd became a citizen a country that's never won gold in basketball . . . and then led that nation to a gold medal win? Then 2 gold medals would mean a lot more.

Did I hear Stephen A say that he'll put Jason Kidd over John Stockton on First take? Nah bro....

Little better?

I would definitely take Kidd over Stockton's floppy, dirty self.
