Do y'all think seeing it in IMAX is worth it or just watch it regular?

I got tickets for tomorrow night’s advance US screening at 7PM in imax.

Yup saw it in IMAX tonight and it's a must.

Easily top 3 in the Daniel Craig Bond era movies.

I honestly think though Rami Malek 's Safin villain character performance was underwhelming.

its weird there’s no early screening in the AMC theater i frequent for tomorrow

there was one early screening today that i missed out on

IMAX worth it for sure. Will type up a few. Third behind Skyfall and Casino but it delivers a great end to Craig.

Keeping it a hunnid, being better than qos and spectre doesn't take much. Casino Royale and Skyfall were great movies and classics so it'd be difficult to pass those two.

Spectre really let me down.
if Hans Landa would of had somewhat of a performance like he did in Django that would of been awesome.

IMAX is a must if you can, the size and scale of some of the action set pieces deserve IMAX. I hadn't seen a movie in an IMAX theater since Infinity War and man did it make a difference. The action was on point, honestly the opening sequence rivals Casino Royale in my opinion. Ana de Armas was better than I expected in how they used her. The acting was great, you really got the sense that this was the last in the series and all of the actors brought that weight and importance to their performance. The story was good... I think I'm just torn on Bond stories overall. I want something to be impactful and to matter, like Skyfall, but in the end it's just a bad guy who wants to do bad things and Bond has to stop them. Malek did well and I think they tied in enough of the previous movies to have some connections but not be weighed down by the past like Spectre was. The direction was great, some of the shots were pretty striking (extreme closeups, certain action shots, etc.). I really can't find too much to complain about it. I rank it 3rd behind Skyfall and Casino Royale, but I honestly might put it a bit higher than Royale but I'm also probably a prisoner of the moment... I was rewatching Royale the other day.

93/100 right now.

/8 ratings has been, is, and will always be pure chaos and anarchy and it saddens me that I'm the only one who acknowledges that.

Biggest complaint was the lack of Ana de Armas.... I know we have Madeleine and her importance to Bond, but I needed more Ana. Her being the naive, first timer, but then kicking total *** and her enthusiasm for her was so fun. I love her. Felix... I'm gonna smoke one for him.. R.I.P. to a real one. I always loved their relationship and that was one of the highlights of the series and this movie. When Bond took the motorcycle up the stairs and got some air the audience literally GASPED. Bond shooting the bad guy and then holding the intro pose was an amazing nod to the franchise. Bond having a daughter worked a million times better than I would have imagined if you told me "Bond finds out he has a daughter and must protect her". They did it so well and gave Bond the chance to have the life he always wanted but couldn't... because his job is to stop the bad guys. Wiping our all of Spectre was mostly a convenience to protect his family after he's gone, so I get it. I loved the bad guy scientist. The new 007 was great, Q was great, M was great, Moneypenny great, everyone was great and I loved how you felt the impact of Bond in this world once he was gone and came back.

I didn't think I would get as emotional as I did (maybe because I'm going through a breakup) but the ending hit me hard. Bond giving up his life to save the world and his family... and the ending as Madeleine was telling her daughter the story about her dad.. touching. Great movie and a great send off to Craig and company.

Spectre really let me down.
if Hans Landa would of had somewhat of a performance like he did in Django that would of been awesome.
The writing was crap. Making the villain responsible for things in the previous movies wasn't connected well. Also needed way more screentime for Monica Bellucci bae.

movie was great though a tad long (i hate AMC and their 45min trailers :smh when the movies already close to 3hrs)

a good send off, they really went all out and you really got to stretch the believability

ana de armas needs her own series

definitely see it on imax, those shots are just amazing to see

+1 on AMC and their long *** trailers. I saw Venom 2 last week and with the recently added Kidman commercial right before the movie it didn't start until damn near 25 mins from the listed time smh. Nowadays I try to plan on getting to a movie no sooner than 10-15 mins after its posted time.

I thought it was a good movie after the last trash.

Have all of Daniel Craig's villains been disfigured?
