Is Peyton Manning the most overrated qb of all time?

Whos your top 5 or 6?

Brady
Marino
Montana
Steve Young
Elway
Unitas
Farve

The last 3 are interchangeable with Bradshaw and some of the other vets but Peyton is not in there. You cant be a beast in the Reg Season and have a 11-13 record in the playoffs like that and have a SB run and still play like trash as well.

You must not know about the playoff chokes of Marino, Young and Favre? :lol

:lol I do. Even Elway taking those bum squads to SB's and getting blown out. Things is...Look at the squads Manning has had and divisions he has been in. Look at his one and done's bro. its embarrassing.

@dmxfury your 100% right. Peyton just embarrassing himself at this point. Thats still my guy but man he has to move on |I

He's won more than Marino, Favre and Young and probably up put better stats

So I don't see how you can say those guys are better especially when they had big playoff chokes too

Im not even a Peyton fan either

As a Colts fan, I had to defend Peyton Manning on here for years.

Kinda hard to defend a QB with 9 one and done playoffs. Football IS a team sport but Jesus...

Had no idea peyton had that many 1 and dones :lol

4th straight AFC championship for brady tho [emoji]128130[/emoji]

Bro your bugging go look up Steve Young again. He has 3x SB's aside from his numbers and %'s. Peytons not better than him

Marino..The most prolific passer of all time with those squads? Peyton's not better than him.

Farve...Peyton is not better than him

Even Peyton's one SB run he still was playing like trash and his defense carried him.Even in the Superbowl.Joseph Addai & Rhodes were the real MVP's that game too :lol

Peyton is definitely better than Favre

And while Steve has rings if you aren't starting those SB games besides 94 it's hard to really give him credit for a SB run :lol

What?!? :lol

Steve Young was a backup in 2 of those Super Bowls!

While Peyton had offensive weapons who were memorable, his overall team wasn't stacked

Peyton played with 41 Pro Bowl selections in his 14 years with Colts

Marino played with 43 Pro Bowl selections from 1983-1994

So whos squads were more bum?

Favre? You must not remember some of his clunkers like his 6 pick debacle

Man let me be in my feelings right now bro :lol |I

but nah I gotta take him out my top 5 for sure.

Marino still is better than Peyton in my opinion. To put up numbers like that in that era is amazing so imagine in this pass heavy league now.

Yeah yall are def right. I was just poking fun :lol. I cant give him credit for those

Favre played with 45 Pro Bowl selections in his 16 years with the Packers

Young played with 48 Pro Bowl selections in his 8 years as the starter with the 49ers

I'll give him that

The stats in that era thing but I think it was almost a determinant to their ability to win the Super Bowl in that era

Brady vs Manning argument is funny to me . in no other sport have two contemporaries had such a drastically different success rate head to head and in the playoffs and people still argue about whose better

Because football literally is the ultimate team game. Something like basketball you can put way more stock in team success and head to head

Not saying Peyton is better but I see the reason for the much larger grey area

can you point to other examples where over a long stretch of time one QB has been more successful in repeated head to head match ups and significantly more successful in the post season but people still actively argue about who is better ? Brady and the pats have won 11 of 16 against the Peyton led teams , its not even close . and its not like over time the Pats teams have been noticeably better than Peyton led teams . i could easily argue its been fairly even in terms of reg season success and team expectations

Not sure of the record between montana and marino except that joe cool is 1-0 in SBs against him but i could see there being a similar argument there albeit they played in different conferences most of their careers. Perhaps Aikman and Steve Young in the early to mid/late 90s

I think Kelly killed Marino head to head

But nobody is saying Kelly is better than Marino

Joe Montana is better than Marino and really isn't close

Yeah Kelly was definitely owning that AFC for a while. 4 straight SB appearances. Unheard of. Wish he couldve won just one. He deserved it.

jim kelly definitely deserved a super bowl ring crazy they couldn't get one of those

NFC was just so much better back then. I thight for sure he had XXV. Once he hit Dallas teams there was no shot
