In case anyone would like a fuller overview of the top additions, here's a link to the intro post: https://niketalk.com/threads/welcome-to-our-updated-site.686180/
There are a few items in there that I haven't seen anyone pick up on yet - and there are some improvements that people won't even notice because they'll just assume they were there all along.
People forget, for example, that you couldn't even embed social media posts on Huddler. You had to take screen captures and post them. Those were dark days, illuminated by nostalgia.
You can also find it under the "WHAT'S NEW" heading in the nav menu.
You can still search within a thread:
Now there does seem to be a slight issue with entering text into the search box in iOS 13 and 13.1.
We expect that to be cleaned up in the next iOS update, but, in the meantime, if you just tap in that area about three times it'll work.
It's a platform thing, sadly, and there's nothing we can really do about it at the moment until it and iOS 13 start playing nice.

I believe the number of ads per page have been reduced from the previous build, and we are now offering that ad free subscription, so I'd like to think we've given everyone two better choices than they had on the old version.
I use the ad supported version for quality control purposes. We're always going to make sure that the free version of the site is the best experience it can be, but, for power users, I'm really glad that, for the first time since the Yuku days, we finally have an ad free option. Unlike Yuku, which just lined the pockets of an inept coproration, this ad free option will support worthy charities.
We'll be sure to publish information about the number of subscriptions purchased and the donations we were able to make together through that system.

Watched threads are right here: https://niketalk.com/watched/threads- Can't find my "watched threads"
- Can't search within a thread
The watched threads thing is really messing with me. I could go there and it would take me to the first unread post.

During testing, a couple of our volunteers noticed that certain buttons weren't responding while they were using AdBlock. We added that warning to make sure people know that the site doesn't function properly when stolen.

I'd recommend consulting with an accountant on that one, as the contribution is indirect.Tax write-off money... ?
way better on iphone without ads. thank you for that option.
