If a guy is forced at gunpoint to have sex with another man, he is both doing something considered gay and doing it with someone of the same sex. He is not necessarily gay though.
Further, plenty of gay people are in denial about it from societal pressures or for whichever reason and lead a "hetero" lifestyle. They don't do things considered gay nor do they sleep with someone of the same sex and yet they could still be called gay.
So in the case of the strap on, a guy would only be gay if he let his girl do him with a strap on because he was attracted to men and that was some sort of compensation for it. If he just liked the feeling of it, that wouldn't be enough.
So again, it's based on who you are attracted to and not what you do or whom you do it with.
Real talk, I'd take the bullet rather than do that.
