Great album. Was lucky enough to see Braids live with Toro Y Moi and they put on a real solid show, at least once the venue sound guy gets their volume levels right. "Lemonade" is my ****this album is perfect for this time of night..

Not an old head, just a music lover. A lot of the 70s punk bands influenced a lot of the bands that would be called "indie" these days. I kind of just worked my way back in time. I work in a studio and one of the other assistants plays these 70s bands all day every day. When all you hear is Television, New York Dolls, Velvet Underground, Butthole Surfers, Blondie, and Talking Heads is all you hear during the day... it's hard not to become a fan.
I heard a lot of Talking Heads growing up.
This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) by The Talking Heads is in my top ten all time great songs...

Randomly stumbled upon a group named Lockets recently and they apparently had an album come out a few weeks ago. It's a really catchy Dream Pop album. If you like bands like Beach House and Memoryhouse, check it out. Their sound is a little bit more manufactured (for a lack of a better word) than the aforementioned groups, but still a good listen nonetheless. Been listening to their album a lot this past week. I really enjoy it.
