going undefeated would mean beating some pretty tough teams in the playoffs which would throw out the "bad opponents" argument. Besides, elite teams are supposed to beat the lesser teams...
people will still use the lack of competition as an excuse. people will say the quality of football was tougher and better in the 70's,80's and 90's than today....people will say that the salary cap does not allow for teams to be great hence competition is weak....all that kind of BSfrom the haters.....i'm already predicting it. people like steve young and stuff will be posing the argument of "Are they really that good if theyplayed in the 70's".....
