skullcandy is garbage.

the new ones though are interesting, they are $300 bucks. they are called Mix Masters and they look awesome. Looks like the beats by dr dre might have a competitor.

since rap and hip hop and is mostly bass oriented
I would say
ultimate ears superfi EB ( extra bass ), they have great bass but comfort is an issue for some
klipsch image x5, good bass  great overall sound quality and best part about them is that they are super comfortable
senheisser ie 7, almost all senheissers have lots of bass
monster turbines pro

you cant go wrong with any of these iems but if i was to decide i would choose the klipsch image x5, they are super light comfy, you can sleep on them and they sound great
