Haha I found something like this years ago. Its the same basic logic.

Try it once with one number, and then again with another. The third time, check both numbers.

ok i solved it....

pick any 2 digit number

so it starts as

10,11,12... and so on

10-1-0= 9
11-1-1= 9
12-2-1= 9
13-3-1= 9

and so on...

then in the 20s
20-2-0= 18
21-2-1= 18
22-2-2= 18
23-3-2= 18

and so on

in the 30's
30-3-0= 27
31-3-1= 27
32-3-2 =27
33-3-3 = 27

so the next one will be 36... then 45... and so on

multiples of 9 are the only thing you can get you follow the directions given...all possible multiples of 9 are the same answer
