I was phishing for Ebay passwords, and I got into this one dude's Gmail account. I saw some NT private message alerts in his email account and I came here to check it out. The rest is history.

Lol back in 04 an ex boyfriend of mine showed me NT and said that's where he got his info on kicks from. I was like 14 then and was lurking for years

Started lurking in 2002.. Was an 8th grader looking at Prof. K's sight daily. Even made my own spreadsheets about the shoes i woud test. Remember going to the DC NT page cuz they posted whatever pics they wanted, i was in 8th grade gimme a break. The rest like you all say is history.

Yeah back in 2005 I was on Google.com and typed in some sneaks that we're dropping and NikeTalk came right up. What I don't remember is how I was intrigued enough to create my legendary SN and start contributing to the forums. It's even a mystery to me.

Was searching for information on the BMP pack. I remember reading about it on (I think) sneaketfiles. Googling the shoe and nickname sent me to a thread on Niketalk. After lurking about 2 years I joined

Sophomore yr of Hs my boy had a pair of jordan 18s and his fathers og trube blue 3 turned me on to jays, I used to always be in airjordan23 and then was lurking on nt for years before I joined..eboards nt changed my life forever I will neve forget the hype the altitude has back in the day

I was browsing for kicks online. Stumbled across SneakerFreaker, Uptempo Air Forums, and Instyleshoes.com while looking for some mid-top Air Force 1s. Lo and behold, Niketalk was underneath in the Google search, and the rest is history.

Was trying to learn how to spot out fake sneakers in 2006. After Google searching, NikeTalk came up, once I learned how to do legit checks and then realized this site had information on release dates and ****, I had to stick around.

Damn its been so long i dont even remember. was in 2004 sometime. lurked a while before joining. plus we had the waiting period back then. i aint mad its gone tho...let everyone contribute and share the knowledge. we all love kicks right? i was always into shoes since i was a youngin but since niketalk ive prolly bought over 200 pairs. still have about 90. craziness.... love NT tho!

Back when gust of that Kim K sextape dropped, (I'm talking when it was an actual sextape, not a feature film yet), my homie told me someone on NT shot him a PM with the whole unedited version link. From then on, I knew I had to join if I wanted to keep up with the first wave in breaking news/stories.

I used to check out air-jordans.com until they stopped updating. Overheard some dudes talking about how there were release dates and all of that jazz on here. For a while I was exclusively in the Jordan Brand forum haha had dreams of being like the dudes who posted stuff mad early, I'm getting there though. Shout out to you all.

Soph in college, my boy jaysRcrack & I had the same job. We used to be on j's heavy, and always looking up release info. during downtime at work, I noticed he was lurking a site with a black background, & the site had all release info/pics early, etc. he became a member, when we had the approval process, & I tried but didnt get approved for months. Got the email, been here since.

'05 od-ing on the old Denver nuggets logo gear. Came across a pair of custom of Air Force 1 nugget Highs on a website called hiphopvalley.com, but the sneakers looked fake, so I did some investigating. Came across nt while searching. Stayed mostly in retro because I was really into forces and dunks, but eventually made the way to general.
