Shenmue is my most favorite game of all time. I loved the storyline

I was so looking forward to Shenmue 2 for DC and then I found out DC died.

Lost hours of my life to DC. Too bad it died cuz Sega couldn't prevent piracy. Everyone I know that has a DC would have copy games.

2 did come out but it was just subtitiled
No voice acting
They did get voice acting for the Xbox version though
Stille haven't played it
Part 2 was pretty ill from the small part I got to play
believe it or not it had waaaaaaaay more content

Supposedly there was supposed to be an online game but TBH I don't think that would have been as good as playing as Ryo

I remember that 200 man fight at the end, collecting those little 25 cent toys, and having a job.

I was a PS3 head so I never played part 2

online was pretty good, the 56k modem was not that bad in those days. there was a bit of lag here and there, but nothing that bad that would make it unplayable.

Online Games i used to be on:

phantasy star online - i played countless hours online

NBA2k - 2k2 & NFL2k played well

Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 - was the Sh*t

I had that too
I think it was with AT&T
I remember getting into members sections of certain sites free
Idk y or how it used to happen but it did

Watching vids was a pain though
I think u had to reset your system b4 or after u viewed them

I remember there was a website bookmarked in the browser where u could make websites with your Dreamcast
Some of those sites were tough

VMUs were tough too
Damn OP you got me all nostalgic

yeah the web browser was not that bad either
i could never get a video to play online

i use to listen to music files like MP3's took forever to load like 5 mins a song

The VMU was really nice, playing sports games u can see your plays and view your sub's, playing Resident EvilCode Veronica was soo nice you did not have to pause the game to view your health since it displayed onyour VMU screen

Had Crazy Taxi but always thought it was a little repetitive and over-rated.

Then again, maybe that's cuz I played the crap out of it.

lol anyone remember this...yellin at the dumb fish all day...i now feel like an idiot for even renting it! but it was kinda funny i just remember coming homefrom school 1 gloomy afternoon and he was floatin dead at the top of the tank and i put the microphone on and start cussing him out to wake up because iinvested so much time in taking care of him lol!!
