does anyone ever really leave the market tho? it is most likely true that most settle but aren’t 1st choice (or best choice?) dependent of opportunity & circumstance?

i tend to think it isn’t all that relevant whether or not someone settled, people & preferences still can change & that ‘is the grass greener’ curiosity gets people too; the idiom of a ‘seven year itch’ would seem to be more or less true given the average length of marriage
