I'm curious on anybody's experience with Unemployment through this. I've been following along with the news. My cousin signed up for it a month ago and just got his first check this week. But sounds like a lot of people haven't.

As a 1099 contractor Colorado just barely opened up unemployment yesterday for Covid-19 claims. I got lucky and was able to submit (many people couldn't get in)

Looks like I'll be eligible for $600/week plus the extra $600/week from the feds. So $4800/month

I'll take it.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get my first pymnt. Looks like they're gonna backdate it to the last date I worked too

That's the biggest decrease I've seen yet for NY. Still too many but trending down
