You should get a full 100mcg dose (not booster) of Moderna, IMHO.

Honestly just been “lazy” or not so much thinking about it. I had my vax in April so technically I should be “good” through the remaining of the year no?

You plan on getting it every 6 months even if they don’t approve a 4th booster?

I've gotten my 3rd as soon as they (FDA or CDC, can't remember) allowed it for people at risk (I'm a transplant patient and immunocompromised..I got mine back in the 3rd week of August. If they say my group can get a 4th, you better believe I'll be making my appointment as soon as they open them up in my county at the federal building/courthouse/medical commission office. If I have to get 2 a year, I'll be happy to do it. 👍

When one doesn't have a functioning immune
system like myself (it's turned off due to the medication I take, so my immune system doesn't attack my liver I got 18+ years ago), you do what's necessary to stay safe. 🙏

In your case,it’s different. I think they have approved a 4th for certain people. I’m trying to time my booster to when I get back to in person work so I’ll have protection then. Wish they gave people better data as to when they should time it or if they had a test to see how well your immunity is.

It’s not quite that simple. High antibodies after vaccination are thought to lead to rapid elimination of virus soon after exposure, whereas longer lasting B/T cells are thought to help eliminate disease if antibody levels have waned. Even though it is possible to test for antibodies (relatively easy) and B/T cells (not as easy), nobody knows exactly what those levels mean as it relates to protection.

Update...
Well im still testing positive...guess I'll wait the full 10 days before I head back to work...feeling really good though...kind of bummed I tested positive.

Update...
I am finally negative..."get" to go back to work tomorrow...still been wearing my mask in the house for the kids...planning on getting my 8 year old vaxxed this week or next...

I thought canadians were supposed to be nicer and less dumb than americans. On twitter they're sounding dumb AF too. Government trying to control them, parents are selfish for making their kids get unsafe pfizer vaccine, trudeau is a socialist, blah blah blah.

When is the booster for the JJ vaxxx going to be approved? I got my 1 shot June 3rd and in 2 weeks or so it’ll be 6 months… they doing any JJ Bosters or I’m SOL?

Don't be too hard on yourself America, plenty of dumb people all over, your idiots just have better coverage.

Also....

Went to the long covid clinic today and was interviewed and tested for two hours. EKG, blood pressure and labs. Scheduled for a lung scan and some other stuff. They may never be able to tell for certain, but they're gonna throw medical spaghetti at me and see what sticks. I would really love to get rid of the tremors and numbness, but I've delt with this for so long, I've begone to think of it as chronic. The worst part is, that when I drink tequila, I get a stabbing pain in the back of my brain.
