This is interesting but just to clarify two different concepts (which the guy says in the tweet, but just to reiterate):
One is if people have some prior antibodies that would lessen the severity of the disease. That is what this paper seems to indicate and could help explain why so many people are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic with Covid-19. This would be just one of many other factors, like comorbidities, age, and genetics, that are probably more significant.
Two is if people have immunity from a prior exposure to a different coronavirus. This would be Friston's theory that only 20% of people are susceptible to getting covid-19. That is NOT what this paper is saying.
