I'm assuming Chalmers didn't play due to not being 100%, but I agree with some of you guys and the starting lineup...it's 3 all-stars and 2 bums...that's gotta change...
But overall, I didn't know what to expect honestly, the Heat looked sooo nervous early, couldn't hit a shot to save their lives. I think when they settle down and know how to play together it'll be scary...think of it this way, they didn't play good at all and they were still in the game in that final minutes...Wade and Bosh didn't play well, Bron played good but not great...they'll be a good team, no doubt about that.

Stop it 5 im tired of hearing bout injuries who cares if mike miller was hurt...nobody told him 2 get hurt thats part of the game..every team has injured players but the point is not 2 get injured... also it isnt bout 1 game its bout Miami Heat did alot talkin before they played one game 2gether they made the bar high.. Chris Bosh look fragile to me he is a west coast player i dont care what anyone say... He is not a eastern conference big man... Chris Bosh vs Dwight Howard lololol thats the funniest matchup i ever heard really.. Chris Bosh dont stand a chance against Gasol nor Bynum.. Who is Chris Bosh gonna guard small forwards??? Chris Bosh suppose 2 be a power forward being that small??? Chris Bosh got 2 prove sumthin to me and the fans cause i just dont see him defending big players he cant guard big baby,cant guard boozer prolly either. Im just ventin but can Chris Bosh even guard Amare??? These questions will be answer during the year but im sorry Chris Bosh isnt Kevin Garnett.. Not necessarily that style exactly but when you got possibly the two best open floor players in the game, there isn't any reason why they need to be running slow #%# offense. If the Heat turn into a jumpshooting team they won't even make the Finals.Like Chuck has been saying for years when Bron was with CLE you have to speed the game up to get easier baskets. Heat need 2 speed it up but also play great perimeter defense.. Alot 3 point shots Boston made in the 4th qtr horrible help defense.. its no secret what Boston does they been doing the same offense plays since 08 i believe since the big 3 was first formed.. Why is Ray Allen open??? Only a dummy leaves him open.. Wade isnt the problem Chris Bosh is though.. Chris Bosh defense look suspect is he really gonna guard a true power forward... at the end of the day, yeah the Heat are talened and they'll get this together but let me say that Chris Bosh is NOT the post presence thats gunna win u a ring.

Exactly....and with 4/5 Boston's starters being over 33 years old, I'm not sure why the Heat didn't try to run more. It's clear that Bron, Wade, and Bosh (as well as the rest of the team) aren't a cohesive unit. They don't know all their offensive sets and played some real slow-it-down basketball last night. I really think they could have exploited Boston's age by running a little more. You get in the 1/2 court sets and that plays right into the Celtics gameplan. Maybe things will change down the road, but they looked like Cleveland-South last night.

maybe i just think Phil Jackson is a genius but imagine if Miami Heat ran the triangle wow... After last nite i appreciated Phil Jackson even more so much space in that triangle... Miami Heat look tired they was partying to much during the summer and not taking basketball serious enuff if u ask me... Especially Bosh walkin up the court as if Kevin Garnett is younger than him..

The same questions do linger though which is whether two ball-dominant players(wade and bron) can play off of each other. This IS literally their first game where all three are together, and I'm not just talking regular season either, since Wade left the entire preseason within the first two minutes so i wouldn't worry too much yet for the people rootin for the Heat.
I didn't go through this whole thread but these last pages have people talking about Mike Miller. He would've helped them but let's not get carried away as if Mike Miller would've been the reason they would've won and went 82-0. They still have a weak bench.
Celtics looked good though, even the big homie Shaq Diesel. The thing that was great about their Big 3 was that all 3 did something different. KG was the low post guy. Paul Peezy was the scorer/playmaker and Ray Ray was the sharp shooter who could score without dominating the ball.
All in all, it's the first game and at least they made it interesting near the end.
Oh and Lebron definitely ain't no sidekick, as proven tonight.

Miami NEEDS a legit point guard. I wont think of them as contenders until they have one.

It'll take Miami a while to get going. Lebron, Wade and Bosh hardly played together at all in preseason. They'll be one of the top three in the east. dont know about a championship this year though.
