As an Oakland native i would wholeheartedly hate this name change. It's a slap in the face to the city of Oakland if they do so.
how are you gonna reside in Oakland for 40 years and rarely ever associate your franchise with this city but move across the bridge and immediately consider being the sf warriors?

I remember reading an article awhile back about how when the Warriors moved from SF the owner was never sold on calling his team the Oakland Warriors hence the Golden State name and the Bay Bridge in their logo which connects Oakland back to SF. But I doubt they would change their name to SF as it would be an insult to Oakland especially if Raiders leave to Vegas and Oakland takes that blow. I feel Golden State says it all represting the Bay

Just keep it as Golden State and leave it as it is.

These are the type of games I want the Warriors to be in to help in the long run. Unfortunately they have yet to fix the problem of late game execution.
The alarming thing I noticed is that they look too much like Durant's OKC teams.

It BAFFLES me how a team with Curry KD and Klay can get 2 FGs in a quarter.... worst loss in a long time for the warriors.. still a lot to work out between the team, time is ticking as well

Deferred to Curry too much so Klay and KD couldn't get it going when the team needed it. Rested Curry too much beginning of the 4th and didn't get him in earlier as the lead started dwindling.
Had no answer for DBo inside. Offensive rebound still an issue with bigger teams, KD wasn't able to do much as he has shown before this game. Missed free throws

I'm glad Draymond got in KDs face about that stupid shot at the end of the 4th, should have just let curry run the PNR the same way they've been doing would have had a much better shot that a contested 3

Yeah Durant really dropped the ball this game. The Cavs game I let slide. But this was all around failure.

True, but I think at that point of the game when zaza isn't effective and looks like he has no lift, I'd rather have javale in there with fresh legs

javele isn't even a good rebounder. zaza is a better option. KD should be snatching boards as well
blown leads in most of those gms. they'll be better by the end of the season. need to play more competitive gms to learn from it

just went to the game at Golden 1 Center. The arena is pretty dope, and it ended up being a good game. I like how Kerr let Draymond stay in after he got his 4th foul.

i really believe that, as good as kd is, its curry's team and the team will still only go as far as he takes them. KD's height might make him the 'better' player, but this has to be Curry's team in order for them to truly flourish. The team as a whole vibes best when Cury is Curry. Not deferring, not playing the backseat, not limiting himself. When he's aggressive and they run the pnr, the team is it's most deadly. They've been developing bad habits, kd brought some of that okc iso mentality with him, and while they were winning, it got swept under the rug, but when it bit them in the *** in the 4th when guys went cold and the iso didnt work, they looked horrible. DON'T FORGET WHAT GOT YOU HERE. Soon as the bring back the pnr, which is exactly what Curry asked for a feww games back, he started blasting teams again. I just don't know if KD is mentally the guy you want as the leader of a team. He has the skills, but it takes more than skills to be that guy. He's still being snippy with reporters n ****. Success came through Curry and Dray running the show and Klay being the American sniper. Now the challenge comes with finding a place for KD that doesn't impose of each of their talents while also also him to be himself.

Even with their current record, they are still finding a level of comfort playing with one another. We still see a lot of standing around on offense and some bad shots. Maybe the discipline is not yet there for the team? Idk, I don't want to overthink their 4th quarter woes...But still, kind of odd seeing them struggle like that at times.
If the issues persist when April comes, things might get ugly quick.
Do you guys think that the Warriors will make any deals at the trade deadline? Curious to see if they'll trade for a consistent scorer off the bench.

Was kinda hoping dunleavy would work out a buyout with the Hawks so the Warriors had a chance to sign him and bring him back but looks like that's not happening
