Had a cabana at surrender last Halloween, it was somewhat packed. It was a nice night, a tad cold but nothing alcohol can't fix. I think it was around 2k for the cabana, 3 bottles with tax tip and handshake

Did a 24 hour trip with my gf on Saturday. Couple of notes...
- Tao Beach was pretty chill... seemed like a 6 to 1 girl to guy ratio (yes, 6 girls to 1 guy). I was in the side pool and I was the only dude with 12 girls in there
laugh.gif

- Bouchon was GREAT. Veal tail was absurd!

- Tryst was chill. Older crowd that evening, played a lot of 90s hip hop which was a welcome change.

- Lavo was pretty packed, definitely had a good time

- Tao was on that YMCMB hype, all hip hop in the main room, wasnt complaining
pimp.gif

- I one-lossed 7 parlays on Saturday
mad.gif

roll.gif
Wisconsin/over, GTech, Rangers, LA-Lafayette, and Virginia ruined me. And that was with a masterful ML pick on USC too! Those ML point parlays are so fun to play.

Best part? Didn't pay cover once

Recap of my brief Halloween trip last year (which I've referenced in this thread before) which will give you an idea:

Walked past a bunch of club lines on Saturday (we weren't going out, so I just walked around that night). Can't recall anyone not in costume.
Lines were stupid long, couldn't see the end of them (the XS line at 10:00 was infinite, I swear).
Went to The Bank on Sunday (Halloween), and everyone was in costume, including hosts and bouncers.
We had a last minute table through a well-connected independent host. All bottles of vodka were $575, no matter the brand.
Got one bottle for the two of us and we just chilled.

You can wear literally anything you want as long as it can pass for a costume. I saw dudes in those stupid t-shirts for call girls running around the club.

damn... so costume is pretty much required?  i dont want to be the only idiot that is not in costume.  guess i gotta get something together on the fly.  time to check out the halloween costume thread.

so against all odds, my wife was able to channel her inner Kirk Cousins and pull off the incredible Hail Mary.  Somehow someway she was able to finagle some comp tickets to UFC 137.  So it looks like UFC then XS then dying an early death from alcohol poisoning on some random sidewalk on Las Vegas Blvd.

Nah, you don't need one. I didn't wear one on Halloween, and I saw people in regular club attire inside besides us. I'm just saying the overwhelming majority is in costume. In the end the club doesn't care, they just want your money.

so far my only play is on Penn and it might stay that way.  Have a bet to win 2u @ -115 and might load up for 2u more.  I will be sure to post in the NT Sportsbook thread before I leave on Friday.
