GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

Bruh I can't wait to go back to Vegas.

I couldn't imagine going out there w/ a group of 12 people. Though I can imagine if you were lined up in adjoining sections @ the pool / club that could be crazy

Yeah I'm sure there's going to be some clash in personalities and interests :smh: but hopefully it'll be fine.

Any recommendations for daytime activities? (Besides gambling/pool parties)

Was out there with around 20 co-workers in January. We had a large section at Pure, joint was crazy.

It ends up being a pain in the *** a lot of time, even for something simple like lunch. So many people, all have different ideas, wanna do different things. If everybody is in the same hotel it's easy. But I've gone and had people in like 3-4 diff hotels and it's a pain getting people together on time.
But I'd love to go with a big group of everything were to be in sync

Haven't been to Vegas for a min. Will 2 grand still be enough to wild out? I'm talking bottle service, pool parties, gambling, etc.

I'll be there from July 18-22 and will be staying at the Luxor hotel. Anyone with experience with this hotel? Good choice?

Also, I want to check out the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. What is the best tour guide to use? Is there one that goes to Los Angeles also?

Luxor = nice, not extravagant. You're also on the really south end of the Strip so expect to take taxis if you plan on going out to the clubs and whatnot. I, personally, like being more towards the center of the Strip esp. for walking purposes.. ie. Planet Hollywood, Caesars, Paris.

Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam tours = you'd wanna check the random concierge desks throughout casinos and malls. I've never been on any of those tours, but that'd be your best bet. You can also check out this section between Harley Davidson Cafe and MGM. It's like a strip mall called Hawaiian Marketplace (or something like that). I remember seeing places to get tickets to shows and tours, etc.

Not sure what you mean about going to Los Angeles... like a tour? :nerd:
Just take the 15 South for a few hours.

Hope this helps.

July 4th weekend? I'll be there that weekend. Anyone else? :nerd:

I'm down there with a few homies 5th-7th. I'd be down to kick it with some Nters one night.

:nthat:

going for MDW. Surrender Sat night for Porter. Sunday night - Hakkasan to see Aoki and Mau5. not sure which pool party to hit yet. such an expensive weekend.

anyone check out Hak yet? how was it? i feel like it might be overhyped...

overall it was dope. i still haven''t been to marquee ( ) but they got a pretty big main floor for EDM and on another story they have a room for hip hop. from talking to some people who have been to both, its bigger than marquee. the djs for the night were danny avila and bingo players in the main room. their sets were pretty dope. quest love took over the hip hop room too and was playing all the good stuff too.

we got presale tickets and got there pretty early. got in no problem. the staff was surprisingly nice. everyone from the people working the elevators, and the ushers directing people were friendly.

For the guy asking about Hakk ^^^^

All u had to do was go back two pages lol.

Hahaha I was as shocked as you are. Hadn't been since 08.

But all I need to have a good time is music I like (they played a lot of hip hop including 90s classics), drinks( lost count of bottles) and women (crowd wasn't tier 1 but still nice).

Thanks for the help Mike. Yea I want to go to L.A. with one of the tour buses.

so my buddies and I are all planning on our first collective trip to Vegas. 4 of us from October 16 - 20th

in terms of flights from NYC to LV roundtrip I'm seeing about $400-450 is that standard or can we get em cheaper?

And in terms of hotel, we're all AC people so we have rewards at Harrah's properties so we are thinking of staying at Caesars...good choice or do yall recommend something else?

Looking for as much info as possible to make it memorable.

Not really a tour bus, per se... but i think it'll do.

Megabus
Vegas to LA round trip for about $30, if you book early enough in advance.

I checked round trip for this Friday-Sunday and it was only $40.

Harrah's Properties are pretty much smack in the middle of the Strip. You can do Caesars or even Planet Hollywood, since it's their newest property.

I always stay at the Augustus Tower at Caesars, but I've noticed a lot of people getting rooms there now.

If ur looking to RAGE do Planet Hollywood. If ur looking more upscale, Caesars.
