GOAT APP legit?

Anyone have trouble buying? I tried various cards and methods of payment and it keeps saying declined. Emailed GOAT and they said they would have the devs look into it but no response after I followed up.

the shoes I wanted are gone too:smh:
Did you ever figure this out? I’ve been trying for weeks, and I can’t even get a response from them lol

Damn

hopefully someone can help you out. Looks like someone had a mix up but what do I know.

best of luck and keep us updated

After 3 weeks of persistent follow-up they ended up giving me the payout but would not acknowledge any fault or explain the situation further, i'll consider myself lucky...

Goat is feeling some type of pressure from ebay and Stockx. These things passed authentication. There was a neon green piece of the shoe stuck to the glue first before I took the pic. I fixed them. Ridiculous though.

This place still legit? Just ordered bred 4s and satin 5s. Havent had jordans in a while so ill probably be asking for people to check em out for me when I receive
I'd stay away. They are feeling the push from ebay and stockx and authenticating anything.

I'm not sure why this is so hard for some people to grasp. The AUTHENTICATION process is to determine if a shoe is Legit or fake. That's it.. That's all.. They are not guaranteeing you a PERFECT pair of shoes by any means..They are guaranteeing you an authentic pair of shoes. Authentic shoes WILL have flaws, it's just the way it is.

Goat is the most anal app in terms of blemishes on shoes. They be rejecting shoes for straight up ******** sometimes

Flaws yes. But theres a point when the **** is B grade and shouldn't be coming to you. They will reject your shoes for the same thing. Its honestly all a crap shoot. I was just glad I was able to clean the crap off my pair.

GOAT also accept returns, so worse case you can return them if there’s something you don’t like.
I have had issues with both StockX and GOAT. I don’t think either is perfect by any means.
I purchased a pair of Kobe V chaos that we’re too small recently and was able to return them and purchase my correct size. I ended up losing $20 cause of the shipping, but I’ll take that any day over being stuck with a pair of shoes that don’t fit.

Has anyone had bad experiences in sellung used shoes?
Do you have to send them in first to be verified/inspected??

I've sold two pairs of used shoes. Yes they get sent in to get verified and you have to post a bunch of pictures so the buyer sees what condition it's in. Went smooth for me

How long does the “searching for a suitable replacement” phase go on for? Pair of shoes I ordered were delivered on Wednesday and haven’t moved past “Delivered to GOAT” since. Messaged them via the app today and then a short time later the status changed to “Searching for Replacement”.

In the meantime prices on the shoe I bought are steadily rising. So I’m assuming they’re not just gonna buy me a new pair no matter the cost, but will instead attempt to buy them at the price point I originally got them for? And if they can’t do that I’ll get a refund? Anyone been through this with them?

Honestly, they really need to improve on their response times when issues arise. A delay of a couple of days can = having to rebuy for a lot more $$. :smh: :smh:

Is grade school size 7 the same as mens size 7?? Goat has these at different prices for pine greens. The GS size is asking 170 while the mens size is asking 275 wtf??

Is anybody else experiencing issues with GOAT currently? I’m seeing all shoes on there are out of stock

I am having issues using my PayPal to secure a pair of shoes. I am using my checking account as the preferred choice on my PayPal.

just made my first sale. they dont have you print out a packing slip to put inside the shoebox?

Just bought some shoes off GOAT and they are listed as new but they have been worn because I can tell from the Air Max 1 sole pimples some are new and others have already flattened out, there’s creasing on the toe box, some fuzzies inside the shoes, and the sticker is already worn out so obviously they’ve been worn already. What does GOAT usually do when it comes to this? I’ve already contacted them and I’m waiting on a reply. I’m just wondering if anyone else has gone thru this and what to expect?

^^This has happened to me a couple of times - they offered me a (small🙄) discount if I wanted to go ahead and keep them or I could return them for goat credit. Be aware that they’ll deduct shipping if you use the return option on your orders page. In order to receive full credit you have to open a help ticket and after some back and forth which takes a few business days they should escalate it. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have a similar problem. I just went through the APP's help button you can see when viewing your order details. Told them my concerns and sent pics. They got back to me the next day asking for more pics. Just sent them more pics and now I'm waiting for whats next. My issue with what I bought was that there is excess material coming out of the side of the shoe which IMO will speed up sole separation. I asked for a full refund, replacement, or a discount. Lets see which options they'll grant me.

So I finally got a hold of them and they said I am getting a full refund and they have sent me the return label. I looked on the app for my size again and idk if I should try again or just move on. So what happens to the shoes/seller? I hope that they can’t be listed again on their account and that seller gets banned. I do wonder what happens on the sellers part.

If the seller has a ton of seller points nothing really happens
They just deduct the points
I believe they don't get fined or anything
That's one of the bad things about goat
Guys who sell alot can cancel and whatnot without really getting punished
If it's a new seller his commission goes up and if it keeps happening the account gets suspended
But who knows what really happens
I assume this is what happens based off the seller rating thing on the app

I don't think anything will happen to the seller in this situation. The sale has been completed. It's the authenticator's fault for letting it pass.
