best thing you can do is shop around and look for electric companies that will offer you a better rate on your bill and not screw you over while as a customer.

Unfortunately pepco has a monopoly on the electric companies in this area, so it’s either them or you in the dark

Don’t forget heating oil is going to be a problem.

3-6 months for some facilities to come back online plus a couple months for shipments to cross the seas put the time line for price stabilization right around fall/winter.

That is if more oil facilities don’t get hit in a way that prevents them from reopening within the year.

In a closed-door meeting, the Commission repeated that there is no immediate threat to EU gas supply but encouraged governments to act to counter soaring prices, the diplomats said.
