I also think because its Thanksgiving week.. the price guaging is the reason for $6 a gallon..

That's why I filled up last week. It's become predictable. Every holiday the price goes up because of "increased demand"

I was up in Paso Robles, CA last week and all the gas stations were close to $6 a gallon. I live 45 minutes south and we're at slightly under $5 a gallon then 30 minutes south of me in Santa Ynez, CA I can get it for the low $4 range a gallon its crazy the difference.
