GAS PRICES THREAD: National Average = $2.59!... gas hits lowest point in a month, no summer prices

it was going up, but now its going back down again

i remember i used to put in $50 to fill my tank half way

and now its just $35

i use premium in my Lincoln and still filling up for about $24.

i filled my tank yesterday for $18.00. never thought i'd see the day gas would go below 1.99 again. cheapest i seen so far is1.35 in Elizabeth, NJ.

I finally saw premium for 1.99 today

Same gas station had regular for, IIRC, $1.75

But I think it went back up today...

There is a very busy intersection that is almost completely shut down due to construction in Midtown St. Louis, so somebody told me they dipped their gas downto $1.15 in order to bring in business. Looks like I'm heading that way tomorrow to see for myself.

Gas jumped to $1.99 in my area today.

It was $1.59 a few days ago... I hope this isn't a sign of it not coming back down!
