No matter how annoying Jayoo88 might be to you, he's right though. There's absolutely no reason this shoe should be going for $800+, except because of one thing: LIMITED. But just come and and say it though. I don't think one person has said they copped because its limited, which is absolutely a lie.
But 98% of you who copped don't want people to know you copped because its limited (excluding all of those who paid retails - you the real MVP's). Its hype beast tendencies, which God forbid, you get labeled that these days, so everyone starts talking about the OG mold, the height, the semi good leather, Hideo Nomo inspired the shoe, etc.... Looking for reasons why you didn't cop because of HYPE.
Thats all it is. Thats why its so salty in here. Those who copped for resell fight for their reasonings, and those like myself who wouldn't cop for resell are called salty (and are called broke - which couldn't be further from the truth - I just don't see the reasonings on why I should fork over such a large amount. Beautiful shoe, but about $400 beautiful - i don't give a damn about limited).
Congrats to everyone who has this shoe. Everyone needs to stop getting butt hurt in here.

They would be a trophy display at that price. I just can't fathom paying that for THIS shoe, of all shoes. Maybe if they made black/red or chicago's this limited, shoes that really meant something to me as a 40 year old man. But these, some shoes inspired by Hideki Irabu?

I wouldn't pay a grand for these out of my pocket but I will sell some shoes I paid retail for , (that I'm not wearing)to buy them. I know I'm still coming out of pocket because of the shoes im selling ,but still not a grand . shoes sell for thousands now get over it ,you don't have to buy them ,and if you don't have or are looking to buy them why waste time in this thread? Nobody needs your money managing advice ,let people live man stop trying to save the world

I would gladly cop a pair of feebay if I'd doubled up on some stuff over time and wouldn't miss the extra pairs. My only hang up is giving someone else $800. Once I have that money back, I'd be too tempted to just keep it.

If someone doesnt want to pay that price for these, no one should question. The same as if someone wants to drop the coin or trade some heat, no one should question. People come around to just agitate, drop opinions and then stick you with the last word are pretty sad imo. Internet muscles are cool but when its used in that way, it says alot about the character on the other end of the ethernet. I never cared much for forums in the past mainly because of that kind of stuff. After seeing dumb crap like catfish etc, im glad i was born before the internet and have a real understanding of humanity.

I just don't get why you feel people can't use the color way, OG mold, height & better quality as reasoning for copping?
You're not in each individuals head to know what they are really thinking so you putting everyone into one category isn't fair.
OF COURSE there are people who bought just because the hype/limited nature of the shoe but that isn't everyone.
