It....it's bad.

It's not a good movie.

Like others have said, the first 3rd of the film isn't terrible to watch; it's quite decent even.

But that doesn't matter. This is a bad movie.

This movie stinks. It's not very good.

I can't believe they had the audacity to display the F4 logo at the end with triumphant music like they made something to be proud of. :x

I can't believe that I watched a shaky cam potato quality bootleg of a movie based on a franchise I care nothing about, and still came out of the experience utterly disappointed.

Interesting. It looks like studio interference played a part in how bad this movie turned out.

never seen the movie but they were not lying about two grown *** men at a high school science fair

Also in this video , Campea has multiple credible sources within Fox studios that says that Fox completely hijacked this movie from Josh Trank.

i remember seeing this movie and it was actually not bad. but then again i was like 10 years old. who knows how it would be watching now.
Bro that's the exact same way I felt about Batman vs. Robin when I saw it in Kindergarten.

Don't believe the nostalgia.

Lol errbody tryna figure out what went wrong. It's everybody's fault.

I highly doubt that Trank had a masterpiece in the works

Maybe not a masterpiece, but it could have been the difference between a movie with 9% RT score or something with just mixed reviews in the 50s-60s.

Trank's next project will be vital. Martin from DT made a good point by asking, "was Chronicle successful because of Trank's direction or Landis' script?" And keep in mind, Chronicle was a found footage film, so it was shot way differently. Something to think about..

I think this could have been a great CBM. Maybe not a masterpiece , but the start to a great franchise.

1. The thing doesn't look much different than the alba 4

2. That dr room looks better than this new one

it's basically been confirmed that the dude who was posting all that stuff on reddit a while back was Trank, right?

Remember that Nerdist article that said they would be getting this "classic" suits at the end of the films? :lol

Trank said the first cut he delivered to the studio was over 2 hours long so they basically cut around 45 minutes from the film http://collider.com/the-fantastic-four-movie-details-josh-trank/

Every poster shows the F4 standing in NY with asteroids falling from the sky :lol That's not even in the film for a single frame.

That collider video shows that Trank was going to use a version of the FantastiCar and they cut that completely.

And all the stuff/goop/whatever the hell they called it from "Planet Zero" was green in the film but red in the trailers.

I just don't get how if FOX interfered that much yet the studio still thought the final product was something good enough to release in theaters. Cutting the budget or coming in under budget is one thing that can affect the movie as a whole but did they feel what Trank did come up with was so bad they had to cut a good chunk of it?

Plus the directors they brought in to film the reshoots, did they think that was good? Really?

This is very telling about those in charge. FOX may be in just a creative stupor as SONY. I mean they released ASM movies they thought were good enough and they clearly underperformed. So disappointing that ppl in house and on the outside had strong criticisms. Is FOX that out of touch with making good a cbm? It's pointing that way with every new release.

I think this could have been a great CBM. Maybe not a masterpiece , but the start to a great franchise.
Great cbm is a reach to me. That's another thing I forgot to mention. I suggested stuff that could've made the movie better but as is there's no potential in this movie. Nothing worthy of the Batman Begins comparisons and I was never had huge praise for that movie. That's how bad this F4 is.

It's proven slightly only based off of some of the stuff the guy saying he was Trank ended up becoming true. The movie not being filmed in 3D being one of them.
