anything that was in origins just needs to be redone
i got to say, the opening credits for Origins was pretty good
I've only seen the first three X-Men films and haven't seen them in over a decade.
You didn't watch Logan?
Deadpool 2 Extended Cut Details Revealed
During our interview with screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick they confirmed that, “There’s going to be a version of the DVD that’s all new jokes, the entire movie,” including the now-infamous “killing baby Hitler” scene. In speaking to Cinema Blend, the filmmakers have gone on record about other things you can expect from the Deadpool 2 extended cut. SPOILERS AHEAD!
“It’s going back to the ‘director cut,’ and then sort of collaborating with Ryan, Rhett and Paul, and making sure we’re all getting all the jokes we want,” confirmed director David Leitch. “It was like an 83 day shoot, and it was a lot of material. But I kept telling the studio, and I kept telling Ryan, I’m like, ‘No, the director’s cut going to come in at like 2:12.’ And he’s like, ‘No way!’ And I’m like, ‘It is! It’s going to come in at 2:12. I want to make it tight. I want you guys to get a really tight first look at the film. I don’t think it needs to be bloated and I’m not that type of filmmaker.'”
Leitch confirmed that his director’s assembly cut included 12-minutes of deleted scenes, including a montage of different suicide attempts by Wade Wilson after his girlfriend Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) dies.
“The suicide scene is in there, and there’s a scene in the mansion in the kitchen over breakfast,” Leitch added. “There’s some extra Domino stuff. There’s a lot of fun little bits, and then a lot of alts! We’re looking for every place we can put an alt.”
“We had a scene in the kitchen in the X Mansion, which is one of our favorites,” confirmed Rhett Reese. “You see Deadpool say ‘ejaculated into a soap dispenser a hero,’ and Colossus goes (smells fingers). There’s an earlier scene where they’re in the kitchen and Colossus is trying to get the soap dispenser to work. And he’s like, ‘This won’t work.’ And Deadpool’s like, ‘Just give it a few extra pumps. I just filled it.’ The kitchen scene was fun. He’s labeling stuff in the refrigerator as he was told to do. And so he’s putting Velcro labels on, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead is not buying his go-straight routine. She’s like, ‘I see through you, you’re still full of ****.’ It was fun.”
Aside from the deadpool part I thought the movie was pretty goodl. it was better than the original x men movies (not better than X2 tho)i got to say, the opening credits for Origins was pretty good
opening scenes pretty cool too, almost a perfect rip out of the Origins book
Would be great if they randomly called this the "Snyder Cut" and Snyder endorsed it
Are we just ignoring the question of when does Deadpool take place in the X-Men timeline? lol
it's kind of always been ignored and many considers it like Logan
though the XMen cameo looks like it's from the Dark Phoenix timeline which is the 90s (quicksilver with a nirvana tee)?
The First One Had Some 2005-2009ish Cars (They Say It Took 11 Year’s To Make) In It So I Kinda Assumed It Was Before X3. This 2nd One Didn’t Have Anything Stand Out To Me To Place It In A Time Period. My Guess Is They Want Deadpool/ X-Force To Be In The 90’s
The movies were never really made to match up. If that’s the case Xavier is due to age 60 years within the next 3. Only a white woman can do thatAre we just ignoring the question of when does Deadpool take place in the X-Men timeline? lol
